chuck close

Chuck close is one of my favorite artist. This piece was the first one i did using his style. This is done using a diagonal grid and I paint each square at a time. the process is long and tedious but the finish painting really worth the time put in. Along with this bond painting, I also have done a self portrait and a picture of schwarzenegger in this same style.
